All of the programs on the list are also available for a fee. Some are eligible for various forms of financial aid. This information is included in the chart.

Both versions of the Fiscal Year 2012 Training Providers list are organized alphabetically by program. The PDF version cannot be sorted by column. It is a static list. The Excel version of the list can be sorted by any of the categories in the first row. These are the categories and what they mean are:

Type: generally describes the industry for the occupation that the course covers

Cert., Lic., Dip: identifies whether you receive a Certification, a License or a Diploma when you complete the course

# Hours: total number of hours

If you choose to download the Excel version of this file, you will be able to sort the data as you wish. For example, if you are interested in becoming a “medical assistant” or a “mobile crane operator” you can sort on the “Course/Program” column to find the training providers that offer these courses. If you are interested in looking at which programs train you for specific types of jobs (Certified Nursing Assistant, Beautician, Graphics Designer, etc.), you can sort on the “Type” column. If you want to know if the credential you receive at the end of the program is a certification, a license, or a diploma, you can sort on that column, and so on. This ability to sort the information makes the Excel download very useful.
