PIC-CLMS Longitudinal Study of BPS Graduates: Enrollment, Completion, Persistence
Description:

The PIC in collaboration with the Center for Labor Market Studies (CLMS) at Northeastern University released the second major study of college persistence and completion for graduates from the BPS classes of 2000-2008. This study is a follow-up to the November 2008 study, Getting to the Finish Line. The executive summary includes information on the 250 students at local colleges who are supported by "transition coaches" from various nonprofit organizations, including the PIC. Success Boston is funded by The Boston Foundation in pursuit of Mayor Menino's goal of doubling the college graduation rate for BPS graduates.
