Training

The One Stop Career Centers assist individuals interested in developing or improving their skill find a training program that fits their needs. Career Centers have a full list of training programs in and around Boston. They assist individuals who need tuition assistance find a resource that might be right for them.

Programs available for tuition assistance include the Workforce Investment Act Individual Training Account (ITAs), Neighborhood Jobs Trust, Empowerment Zone, Department of Transitional Assistance and when appropriate National Emergency Grants for recently laid-off or dislocated workers. The funding streams that support the vouchers (ITAs) or provide tuition assistance have specific eligibility requirements. The Career Centers assist training seekers find and apply for the program that is best for them.
